WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
WHERE...A portion of northern New York, including the following counties, Franklin and St. Lawrence. * WHEN...Until 115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. In addition, the Salmon River near Fort Covington, has inundated several homes this morning per reports from local media. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 722 AM EDT, the public reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Potsdam, Canton, Massena, Ogdensburg, Gouverneur, Norfolk, Oswegatchie, Lisbon, Louisville, Moira, De Kalb, Bangor, Fowler, Parishville, Fort Covington, Colton, Bombay, Norwood, Madrid and Carry Falls Reservoir. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
