For your lakeside glamping enjoyment, our rustic camp includes the following:

  • Galley kitchen with sink, fridge w/ freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tv,

  • Pots and pans, dishes & flatware. (most of the things you would normally have at home).

  • The master bedroom has a queen bed, linens, pillows, and blankets. The main area has a double sleeper sofa.

  • A lavatory with a new-fangled ‘flush toilet’ (indoors!!) (Please note: there is no shower).

  • The main living area is open-concept and features comfy campy furniture, TVs, DVDs, a collection of board games and reading material…, and space to hang out. (Twin bunk beds are in the rear of this area.)

  • Breakfast deck for early morning coffee & viewing of glorious sunrises & loons passing by.

  • A cement dock with plenty of space to stretch out in the sun (deck furniture and umbrella included).

  • Fire pit for marshmallows and nighttime constellation contemplation. (firewood provided)

  • Two kayaks w/vests & paddles (the neighbors have some small-tot, beach toys if needed).

  • The swimming area progresses from a shallow ankle-deep depth to 142’ in the middle of the lake.

  • Charcoal or propane grill (your preference), trash & recycle containers.

NOTE: County legislators voted 12 to 2 in favor of a 3 percent "bed tax." It changes an earlier occupancy law that only applied to hotels and motels. That law was established in 1991 and was last modified in 2004. The new law covers apartments, homes and short-term vacation rentals. It's paid for by the people who rent those rooms, not necessarily by the owners of the places that are being charged. The updated law also includes an agreement for Airbnb to collect taxes for the county from guests who book through that website. Anyone who rents out property now has to register with the county treasurer.
